“Mark does everything to take the hassle out of booking team travel hotel reservations” - client

Coaches, booking your team’s next trip is as simple as sending over an e-mail to markthehotelguy@gmail.com with the following information:

  • The city you would like to stay in and University your team will compete against

  • Expected arrival and departure dates

  • The number of rooms needed per night, and room type (double/doubles, kings)

  • Upon receipt of your request, Mark can get started on providing you with hotel options, and it typically takes about one week to flesh out a compete schedule.  If a team is looking for help in just one city, you will receive hotel options back within a day or two.

  • Coaches then receive a personalized email from Mark listing their, “Hotel Options.” Coaches simply email back their selections, and Marks sets up the team’s reservation.  As you can gather already, the interaction between hotel and coach is very limited. 

  • Once all the team’s information is submitted to the hotel(s), coaches then receive an email titled, “Hotel Summary.” The hotel summary lists the entire season’s hotel’s information:  Hotel name, address, phone and fax number, arrival date, departure date, on-site hotel contact and their email address and the room rate. 

  • Coaches are encouraged to then forward this email to parents, alumni and friends who may want to travel with the team and stay in the same hotel.

  • Each individual hotel then sends their own booking agreement directly to the coach.  If for some reason a coach does not hear from a hotel or receive a contract, the coach simply emails Mark as the point person for following up.
